Clean Energy Communities
Matching the power of large energy buyers with the know-how of local communities to build an empowering and resilient pathway to a zero-carbon energy future
REBA has partnered with community power non-profit Groundswell to explore how large buyer renewable energy procurement can generate co-benefits for local communities. REBA members understand that fostering an accessible, equitable, and just clean energy transition is a collective challenge facing the market that can be most effectively solved as a community of practice, partnered with communities on the front line of this transition.
Participating REBA Buyers will have the opportunity to:
- Join leading energy buyers and frontline community leaders to form impactful connections and foster solution-oriented discussions
- Develop resources and identify best practices for generating community-driven co-benefits for large buyer renewable energy procurement
- Engage with experts from leading NGOs to advise on developing best practices, measuring progress, and communicating successes
New resources are in development with and for the REBA community, and will be made available on this page and on the REBA Member Portal as they are created.
